CABANATUAN CITY — The provincial inter-agency task force reiterated its call to the public to observe health protocols as five more confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease were recorded in Nueva Ecija on Saturday.
Of the new cases two were from this city and one each in the municipalities of Gabaldon, Gen. Tinio, and Peñaranda, the NEIATF report showed.
The patients from this city are a 45-yrar-old businessman from the urban village of Zulueta and a 31-year-old sales agent from Barangay Daan Sarile.
The two are under strict home quarantine, according to the NEIATF.
The three others who are all males include a 49-year-old government employee in South Poblacion, Gabaldon; a 26-year-old healthcare worker in Barangay Bago Gen. Tinio, and a 27-year-old collector of Sinasajan, Peñaranda.
The three had travelled to different places with high Covid-19 incidents.
These five raised to 262 the total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases in tbe province, of which 123 have recovered, 127 are active and 12 died.
