CABANATUAN CITY – Three more people were confirmed positive of the coronavirus disease raising to 170 the total number of infected in Nueva Ecija as of Monday, July 27.
This, as a 30-year-old resident of Barangay Mangga, San Isidro town who was working as call center agent in Metro Manila, died on July 24 and confirmed infected with COVID-19 Sunday, according to the Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force.
Identified as Nueva Ecija’s patient 168, he was the eighth fatality of Covid-19 in the province.
One of the latest Covid-19 cases is a 32-year-old seaman from Barangay Bagong Sikat here, the 15th sea-based worker affected by the virus in the province. Of the 15, six have already recovered, noted the NEIATF.
The other new cases include another seafarer, aged 32, of Barangay Sto. Cristo, Gapan City; and a fireman, 32, of Sto. Niño III, San Jose City.
