CABANATUAN CITY – Twenty–two new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease were reported in Nueva Ecija on Saturday, Aug. 22, according to the provincial inter agency task force.
Of the new cases, eight are from Gapan City, including a a 7-year-old boy and a 32-year-old mother.
The other cases are a female healthcare worker from Sto. Domingo, a 37-year-old resident of Gen. Mamerto Natividad, a 53-year-old man from Cabiao, and one from Palayan City.
Also included in the fresh list were four male health workers with two coming from Jaen town and two from this city, the report showed.
Added to the log were close contacts of previously diagnosed cases such as the 34-year-old woman from San Leonardo who had been associated with a 61-year-old patient; a 42-year-old woman, a 53-year-old helper,and a 38-year-old driver, who belonged to the circle of female healthcare workers from this city
Four other cases, aged 22 – 60 years old, came from this city.
