CABANATUAN CITY – The confirmed coronavirus disease cases in Nueva Ecija rose to 146 after 13 more residents tested positive on July 21.
At the same time, the Nueva Ecija inter-agency task force reported that seven patients have fully recovered,raising the total to 75.
Citing reports from the Department of Health–Nueva Ecija, the NEIATF said 13 more cases were recorded Sunday afternoon on top of the eight others logged earlier that day.
Among the new cases were a 60-year-old male resident of Barangay Tabon, San Isidro; a fish vendor, 48, of Mayapyap Norte here; a 56-year-old man from San Pablo, Jaen; a 22-year-old man from Pambuan, Gapan City; and a 33-year-old woman from San Bernardino,Guimba town.
Of the 146 confirmed Covid-19 cases, 65 are recuperating and six have died, according to the NEIATF.
The new recoveries include a 29-year-old man from Ungab, Cuyapo; a seafarer, 22, of Bugnan, Gabaldon; a chemist, 40, of Sto. Niño 2nd, San Jose City; a government employee, 31, of Caanawan, San Jose City; a fireman, 32, of Bakod Bayan this city; a businesswoman, 45, of Quezon St., Cuyapo, and a 39-year-old woman from Kap. Pepe Subd., Barangay Kap. Pepe here.
