BALANGA CITY – For the sixth straight day Saturday, the number of cases of coronavirus disease in this province remained at 81, even as more patients were tested negative of the virus.
Gov. Albert Garcia said that of this number per report of the provincial health office, the number of recoveries was still at 15 and deaths at four.
Those who recovered were still completing 14 days of post-discharge quarantine before their final release.
The governor said that since January 31 from the first patient considered as person under investigation, 1,791 have already been tested out of which 853 were found negative and 857 still pending.
He said that per Saturday report, 107 were tested negative of Covid–19.
Garcia asked residents to stay at home and be careful so that the number of virus infections will no longer rise.
Bataan is one of the provinces where the enhanced community quarantine has been extended to May 15.
