BALANGA City, Bataan: The number of cases found positive of the coronavirus disease 2019 in Bataan turned to 23 after the wife of a patient earlier confined for the illness was confirmed with Covid–19.
Gov. Albert Garcia said that based on the report of the Provincial Health Office as of 1:14 p.m. Monday, the newest case was of a 71-year old woman from Samal, Bataan. Her 75-year old husband was confined for Covid-19 last week.
Of the 23 patients, three died while six have recovered and who are waiting for the completion of 14 days of post discharge quarantine.
The number of persons under monitoring reached 3,494, mild persons under investigation at 821 and moderate to severe PUI at 144.
