BALANGA CITY – The province of Bataan logged 112 new confirmed cases of the coronavirus disease, six of which are of Delta variant, the provincial health office reported Thursday.
With the new confirmed cases, the total number of those tested positive of the virus rose to 13,524 with 1,732 active cases while there are now 18 patients with the new and more dangerous variant.
The number of those who have recovered reached 11,317 after the listing of 22 new recoveries while total deaths climbed to 475 with the addition of three new casualties.
The new confirmed cases are from Mariveles – 41, Balanga City – 24, Orion – 19, Limay – 15, Dinalupihan – 8, Bagac – 6, Abucay – 5, Orani – 4, Hermosa – 3, Pilar – 2, and Samal – 2
Those who have newly-recovered are from Orion (7), Balanga City (5), Limay (5), Orani (3), and Abucay (2).
The new fatalities were two females from Balanga City aged 70 and 72, and a 68-year-old male from Orion.
