BALANGA CITY — Bataan registered two new fatalities from the coronavirus disease, causing the number of deaths to rise to 83, Gov. Albert Garcia announced Thursday.
The new deaths, both women, were a 25-year–old from Hermosa and a 67-year–old from Balanga City.
The number of confirmed cases reached 3,765 of which 69 are active after four new cases were added to the list while recoveries rose to 3,613 with six newly-recovered.
The new confirmed cases are two women aged 67 and 27 from Balanga City and a 67-year–old man and 32-year–old woman from Abucay.
Included in the new recoveries are males aged 43, 42, and 7 and a 68-year–old woman from Dinalupihan; a34-year–old woman from Pilar and 36-year–old man from Hermosa.
All those tested for Covid-19 reached 43,072 with 39,183 already found negative.
“Patuloy na pinaaalalahanan ang lahat na palaging maghugas ng kamay, magsuot ng face mask at face shield at mag–observe ng physical distancing na dalawang metro,” Garcia said.
