BALANGA CITY — From 11 Tuesday night, the number of patients confirmed positive of the coronavirus disease in this province rose to 14 before 11 a.m. Wednesday.
Gov. Albert Garcia said that based on the latest report from the provincial health office, three person – one each from Balanga City, Samal, and Limay – tested positive of the virus.
The 12th is a 70-year–old male from Limay, the 13th a 75-year–old male from Samal and the 14th a 44-year–old female from Balanga City. The last was one of the those who came in contact with city administrator Rudy de Mesa who died last Friday.
Balanga City alone has six confirmed cases, including de Mesa.
As of 10:22 a.m. Wednesday, there are 4,492 persons under monitoring, 745 “mild” persons under investigation and 93 moderate to severe PUIs.
Of the 11 with positive cases, three have recovered and are undergoing 14 days of post-admission quarantine in facilities designated by the Department of Health.
