BALANGA CITY — The number of those tested positive of the coronavirus disease in Bataan continued to climb, now at 12,403 with 1,324 active ones after 111 new confirmed cases were recorded Friday, the provincial health office reported Saturday.
Those who recovered totaled 10,648 with the addition of 77 new recoveries while deaths rose to 431 after three new casualties were listed.
Mariveles remained at the top spot of new confirmed cases with 66, followed by Balanga City, 8; Orion, 8; Limay, 6; Pilar, 6; Dinalupihan, 4; Hermosa, 3; Samal, 3; Abucay, 2; Bagac, 1; and Morong, 1.
The new recoveries were from Balanga City – 23, Mariveles – 20, Dinalupihan – 11, Abucay – 8, Hermosa – 7, Bagac – 3, Samal – 2, Limay – 1, Morong – 1 and Orani – 1.
Among the new fatalities were 73-year-old male from Balanga City, 73-year-old female from Bagac. and 48-year-old female from Hermosa.
Those vaccinated with the first dose were 90,424 individuals and 39,618 with the second dose.
Bataan remains under the modified enhanced community quarantine until July 31, 2021.
