SAMAL, Bataan — Members of the municipal police station here, like in the rest of the province, made themselves highly visible in projects under the Brigada Eskwela as opening of classes on Monday nears.
Two of the recent programs implemented by the Samal municipal police station headed by its police chief Major Jimmy Albert Decin are Brigada Pagbasa and repainting of a public elementary school.
Personnel of the station conducted Thursday visitation and book reading for the young learners of Gugo Elementary School in partnership with school principal Myrah Esconde in connection with Brigada Eskwela/Brigada Pagbasa. “This aims to encourage children and their parents to be prepared in the resumption of face-to- face classes this coming school year,” the chief of police said.
Last Wednesday, personnel of the Samal police together with advocacy support group Citizen Crime Watch joined the Brigada Eskwela 2022 in Asuncion Consunji Elementary School in Barangay Imelda.
Police officers painted the concrete fence and walls of the school. The activity was under the school’s Project Repair or Repainting Particular Infrastructure.
