CABANGAN, Zambales – Elements of the Zambales Criminal Investigation and Detection Team (ZCIDT) seized assorted ingredients and devices in making explosives during a raid in Barangay Camiing, this town Friday afternoon.
Chief Inspector Alex Daniel, ZCIDT provincial officer, arrested suspect Delia Jerald, 52, resident of said place after receiving reports that she is engaged in selling dynamite to fishermen in their area.
Report said the suspect was arrested by virtue of Search Warrant issued by Judge Consuelo Amog-Bocar, RTC, Branch 71 of Iba, Zambales.
Police authorities confiscated 27 pieces of detonating cord, seven pieces plastic of ammonium nitrate and two sacks of ammonium nitrate, all ingredients in making explosives.
The suspect was detained at ZCIDT facing appropriate charges.
