SAMAL, Bataan – Police have invited for questioning a passenger jeepney driver to shed light on the brutal killing of his sister-in-law and young niece here Sunday night.
Senior Insp. Emelito dela Cruz, chief of the Police Provincial Investigation Bureau,led in the investigation of Marcelino Javate, Jr., 34, brother-in-law of victim Mariven Javate, 33, and her only daughter old Allysa, aged 2 and 1/2 years old.
Marcelino is brother of Marlon Javate, a civil engineer working in Africa, who is husband of the murdered woman.
Reports showed that the victim complained to the police a day before her death that she was allegedly threatened by her brother-in-law whom she suspected of stealing her jewelries last April.
Police are still investigating the case.
