SUBIC, Zambales – Joint operatives of CIDGOlongapo and Subic PNP arrested a woman selling online overpriced isopropyl alcohol in this town and nearby towns of Zambales.
Through a Facebook validation, the CIDG determined that suspect Beverly Mortil y Flores, 27, resident of Barangay Asinan Proper, Subic town was selling 250 ml. isopropyl alcohol for P120.
Mortil was nabbed in an entrapment operation. Recovered from her were 50 bottles of 250 ml. unbranded isopropyl alcohol, the P500 marked money dusted with ultra violet powder, and 12 pieces of P500.00 boodle money.
The suspect is now under custody of CIDG Provincial Field Unit in Olongapo facing charges for violation of RA 10623 (Price Act), RA 7394 (Consumer Act of the Philippines), and Section 7 of RA 11332.
