ANGELES CITY — For Pampangeños, shopping for quality essentials just got easier, closer, and more meaningful. On Sept. 5, UNIQLO opens its first roadside store in Central Luzon, right in the heart of The Infinity township, bringing its signature LifeWear experience to a community that’s always on the move.

“We feel that it’s really the ideal place,” shares Romina Cunanan, senior marketing manager for PR and sustainability at UNIQLO Philippines. “Pampanga is already home. We want to make it convenient for everyone—they don’t have to travel out so far.”
The new store isn’t just about proximity. It’s about accessibility and inclusivity. With dedicated parking spaces and passageways for PWDs, UNIQLO’s Angeles Roadside Store is designed for everyone—families, professionals, and those who need special assistance.

“We’re very accessible in terms of PWDs or those who need special assistance,” Cunanan emphasizes. “There’s access for everyone, and we want to make sure shopping is easy and enjoyable.”
But the story goes beyond shopping. UNIQLO’s commitment to community shines through its sustainability initiatives. During the VIP preview day on Sept. 3, the store hosted a special activity for local girls, giving them a shopping spree and a taste of what it means to be part of a brand that gives back.

“We don’t just open stores—we become part of the community,” Cunanan says. “We value partnerships, like with Bale Dutung, because every time we open doors, we want to be present and involved.”
Geraldine Sia, chief operating officer of UNIQLO Philippines, echoes this sentiment.
“This is our eighth roadside store, and the first in Central Luzon. We always aim to design our stores to be convenient and accessible, reaching out to the community,” Sia shares during a special Kamustahan with Pampanga media. “Later, we’ll have a store tour to highlight pieces fitting for everyday Kapampangan life—crafted for comfort, style, and local pride.”

The store’s opening is more than a retail milestone—it’s a celebration of local culture, craftsmanship, and good food. “That’s why we’re here today, at Bale Dutung,” Sia adds. “It’s about celebrating together, enjoying each other’s company, and making every visit special.”
Bale Dutung, meaning “House of Wood” in Kapampangan, is a private dining destination in Angeles City. Founded by chef Claude Tayag and Mary Ann Quioc, it is known for its intimate setting and authentic Kapampangan cuisine, offering guests a unique culinary experience that celebrates local flavors and craftsmanship.

Exclusive Offers and Community Perks
From Sept. 5 to 11, shoppers can enjoy special deals on UNIQLO favorites—mini T-shirts, AIRism polos, jeans, and more. There’s even a chance to win dining vouchers at local food spots through Japan’s iconic Gachapon capsule vending machine, and freebies like UNIQLO thermal mugs and duffle bags for app members.
For those who love a good meal, UNIQLO is raffling off a private dining experience at Bale Dutung.
“We want every visit to be memorable, not just for shopping, but for the experiences and connections you make,” Cunanan says.

A Store for the Community, By the Community
UNIQLO’s Angeles Roadside Store is more than just a place to shop—it’s a hub for community engagement, sustainability, and local pride. With its thoughtful design, inclusive features, and commitment to giving back, it’s set to become a new favorite for Pampangeños and visitors alike.
“Every time we open a store, we want to be part of where we’re at,” Cunanan concludes. “We’re here for the community, and we’re excited to grow together.”
