ABUCAY, Bataan — Police arrested a construction worker during a busy-bust operation in a village here Monday night.
Captain Roger Peceno, Abucay police chief, said Arnold Santos, 41, was arrested at 10:20 p.m. in Barangay Mabatang by a police team in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
He said the suspect was nabbed after handing a small size heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu to a police-poseur-buyer in exchange for a marked P500-bill.
After protective search, police operatives found in the possession of Santos two more plastic sachets of suspected illegal drugs.
Peceno said they were readying charges for violation of Sections 5 & 11 of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act against the suspect.
