ANGELES CITY — Connext, a global staffing and outsourcing firm, is expanding its site here with the addition of 250 new jobs, reinforcing its long-standing partnership with developer JDN Sons, Inc. The expansion was formalized through a contract signing attended by Connext executives and JDN leaders.

“This partnership with JDN is extremely valuable,” said Ronald Herbert Rhodes, executive vice president and general manager of Connext Angeles, after the signing of a memorandum of agreement between Connext executives and JDN leaders. “Their support has allowed us to expand quickly and efficiently.”

Rhodes emphasized that Connext is not a traditional BPO. “We’re not a call center. We hire accountants, nurses, and medical billers—professionals who get to practice what they studied and aspired to do.”

“That’s even more significant to me because it helps local Filipinos pursue careers aligned with their education and goals,” Rhodes added.

The company currently employs around 2,000 people across its sites in Angeles, Ortigas, Davao, Colombia, and India. Rhodes also commended the people behind JDN, noting their cooperative and family-like approach—from security and maintenance personnel to executives.

For his part, Arni Valdes, president of JDN Sons, Inc., described the expansion as a fulfillment of the company’s long-standing vision.

“Entec-1 was our first building, and we’ve always aimed to create communities where people can live, work, and play—not just be a bedroom town,” Valdes said. “Connext was the first company to join us here, and we’re proud to see them grow.”

Valdes acknowledged the praise Connext gave to JDN’s workforce and emphasized the company’s efforts to cascade the NEPO family culture throughout its organization.

“Even small things, like uniforms, contribute to the experience we want to create,” he said. “We’ve learned from our partners how to build meaningful community experiences, and that’s now part of our DNA,” Valdes said. JDN is currently planning several new projects, including major developments at NEPO Center.

“We’re excited about what’s coming next,” Valdes added, citing the support of the JDN Board and chairman emeritus Peter Nepomuceno.
