TARLAC CITY – The winners of this year’s Search for the Ten Outstanding Students of the Philippines (TOSP) for Central Luzon were officially announced on Monday by the regional executive committee and its partner organizations.
Joining the roster are Emmanuel Lozano from Don Honorio Ventura State University, Kimberly Macuto and Christine Trizha Laguda from Holy Angel University, Marc Allaine Lazaro from Central Luzon State University and Alexis Valmadrid from Baliuag University.
Also earning their spots are Keanu Aebramh Costales from Pampanga State Agricultural University, Christian Jemverick Manio from Angeles University Foundation, Dean Carlo Ventura from Bulacan State University, Trent Joshua Asuncion from President Ramon Magsaysay State University and Mark Lester Santiago from Tarlac Agricultural University.
“This year’s regional finalists will be our new breed of young leaders who will collectively lead us to the future,” Commission on Higher Education (CHED) supervisor Dr. Christina Nuque said.
“We recognize and honor the cream of the crop who were carefully and meticulously chosen by our regional board of judges,” she added.
The ten regional winners will be the region’s delegates to the national search.
“Through the TOSP program, we are planting the seeds of heroism to our young leaders who are capable of taking-up the challenges of their time,” Nuque said.
