The Police Regional Office 3 recognized Thursday exemplary cops in Central Luzon.

The recognition rites are in line with the 119th Police Service Anniversary which carried the theme “Towards a Pandemic-Resilient PNP: Adopting Protective Protocols in the New Normal.

“The theme aptly manifests the Philippine National Police’s flexibility to cope with the prevailing situation in the country in terms of law enforcement towards a stable peace and order,” PRO-3 director Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia said.

The individual awardees include Col. Eric Noble, Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration; Col. K Tampis, Best Senior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations; Maj. Zyrah Joy Cabal, Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Administration; Lt. Col. Henry Bruno, Best Junior Police Commissioned Officer for Operations; and SMSgt. Renato Robles, Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Administration.

Other awardees were MSgt. Arnel DV Agliam, Best Senior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operations; Cpl. Queen-Lee Torrecampo, Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for AdministrationSgt. Catherine Joy Corpuz, Best Junior Police Non-Commissioned Officer for Operations; NUP Josephine Sevilla, Best Non-Uniformed Personnel (Supervisory Level); and NUP Alenea May S Furio, Best Non-Uniformed Personnel (Non-Supervisory Level).

Sermonia himself was recognized by the national police leadership for his responsive programs on peace and order relative to productivity and resiliency that mitigated the effect of Covid-19 in Central Luzon.

“This recognition is not only for me but for the men and women of PRO3 who have been working tirelessly to fulfill our commitment of fighting criminality in the region as well as containing the widespread of Covid-19 while at the same time alleviating the lives of our fellowmen in Central Luzon by providing them food during this pandemic,” Sermonia said.
