CABANATUAN CITY – Police have collared the top 2 most wanted persons of Central Luzon in Barangay Nagpandayan, Guimba, Nueva Ecija on Monday, the province’s top cop said Tuesday.
Police Col. Ferdinand Germino, Nueva Ecija police director, said the suspects who were both facing murder charges were successively arrested by combined elements of the Guimba Municipal Police Station, regional mobile force battalion 3 (RMFB3) police unit and the provincial by the strength of arrest warrants.
Geronimo said the first suspect, a 20-year-old man of the said village, was arrested at around 10:30 am.
The arrest of the second suspect, a 19-year-old male, happened at about 1:00pm that same day, Geronimo said.
The police did not provide details on the murder incident on which the duo were involved but said they were listed as top no. 1 and no. 2 of the Central.Luzon regional police.
The court did not set bail for their temporary liberty.
Both are currently under the custody of the Guimba Municipal Police Station for proper legal disposition.
“The arrest of these accused brings justice to the victims and their families, holding them accountable for their actions,” said Geronimo.-#
