Clark’s tourism products unveiled in multi-city roadshow

GENERAL SANTOS CITY — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and its partners showcased Clark’s tourism products at a multi-city roadshow, aligned with President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr.’s directive to promote and develop tourist destinations across the country.

The roadshow included product presentations in major cities of Northern Luzon and South-Central Mindanao, such as General Santos City (GenSan), Tuguegarao, Baguio, and La Union, in collaboration with the Luzon International Premier Airport Development Corporation (LIPAD) and the Department of Tourism (DOT) Regional Office 3.

Jada San Andres, CDC Tourism Officer III, presented Clark’s diversified tourism offerings during the roadshow, including the upcoming Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibits Conference 2024 (MICECon). San Andres emphasized the message of CDC President and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera and conveyed the CDC’s commitment to fostering regional collaborations.

“With so much to offer, Clark truly stands out as a destination of limitless possibilities. We urge you to come and experience the charm of Clark, where adventure, relaxation, and unforgettable memories await. Swing into fun and experience the vibrant energy of Clark,” said San Andres.

Around 30 stakeholders from South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sultan Kudarat, Sarangani, and General Santos City (SOCCSKSARGEN) were introduced to the range of tourism products available in Clark, from historical landmarks to natural wonders.

In addition to product updates, the roadshow aimed to generate and facilitate more flights between Clark and GenSan, with the goal of unlocking the full potential of Clark International Airport and promoting stronger ties, tourism, trade, and investment growth between the two regions.

LIPAD Cargo and General Aviation Development Officer Donellano Alegre emphasized the airport’s strategic location, state-of-the-art facilities, and efficient operations, making it an ideal catalyst for economic and tourism development in Clark and Central Luzon.
