CLARK FREEPORT — The Clark Development Corp. has reaffirmed its support for sustainable transport as Foton Motor Philippines, Inc. (FMPI) unveiled its full lineup of electric vehicles during the “EV Forward” event held at its Clark assembly plant over the weekend.
“In every economic activity, you need mobility,” noted CDC president and CEO Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera in her remarks, emphasizing the importance of clean energy and mobility in economic development.
She said additional EV charging stations are being planned across the freeport.
The event showcased FMPI’s commitment to advancing EV technology in the country, with support from both government and private sector stakeholders.
The CDC chief said it continues to work with stakeholders to promote sustainable mobility and position Clark as a model for clean and efficient transport systems.
Also present at the event were FMPI officials led by general manager Levy Santos, AVP for heavy business division Chris Sta. Maria, sales manager Tychicus Tison, and sales deputy Director Joshua Sytin; Department of Energy’s Electric Vehicle Industry Management Division chief science research specialist Andy Ulgado; Electric Vehicle Association of the Philippines president Rommel Juan; and United Asia Automotive Group Inc. field sales and training manager Matthew Hildawa.
