The assessment result from the Department of Tourism – Philippines (DOT) came in last January 2020. On January 26, 2022, the DOT had the opportunity to award the plaque to the hotel while the officials attend the 2-day Philippine Education Tourism Conference (PETC) in the hotel.
Clark Marriott Hotel opened in September 2018, and has been awarded Tripadvisor Travelers Choice for two consecutive years. As of this writing, it is the top-rated hotel in Luzon.
