Some 100 youngsters from the seven provinces of Central Luzon attended over the weekend the Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT) Virtual Summit hosted by Police Regional Office 3.

“We want to instill in the youth the importance of volunteerism and active participation in the government’s fight against illegal drugs and terrorism through KKDAT,” PRO-3 regional director Brig. Gen. Rhodel Sermonia said.

Speakers during the summit included National Intelligence Coordinating Agency director general Alex Monteagudo, KKDAT Central Luzon president Kaye Ann Legaspi and KKDAT ambassadress Michelle Gumabao.

Other agencies who served as resource persons included officials from the Department of the Interior and Local Government and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency. Carlo Lorenzo J. Datu/PIA-3
