MABALACAT CITY — The city government here through Mayor Crisostomo “Cris” Garbo has donated P2 million to the Police Regional Office 3 in support of the development of facilities inside Camp Olivas in the City of San Fernando.
“They (PRO3) will be receiving their P2-million check within the week,” Garbo said during the launch of PRO-3’s projects aligned with the government’s “Balik Probinsya” program.
With this, PNP chief Gen. Archie Gamboa thanked Garbo and the Mabalacat City government for supporting the PRO3.
“Thank you very much Mayor for helping the PNP. Sa ibinigay ninyo, napakalayo ng maaabot nito sa PRO3,” Gamboa said.
Meanwhile, the mayor said the assistance to Mabalaqueños not included in the Department of Social Welfare and Development’s Special Amelioration Program will still continue with the distribution of 25-kg of rice and P1,000 cash each to his constituents.
Garbo also said the Mabalacat City government has also started to distribute food coupons worth P1,000each.
