CLARK FREEPORT – The ease and convenience of travelling via Clark International Airport gets even a notch higher with the operation of a check-in facility at the SM City Clark here.

The new facility affords travelers complete check-in services before arriving at the airport, hassle-free, and with more time to spare. Last minute SM shopping, anyone?

“This initiative is part of our commitment to enhancing the passenger experience at Clark International Airport,” said Noel Manankil, CEO of Luzon International Premier Airport Development, the operator of CRK.

“Travelers can take advantage of the mall’s dining, shopping, and leisure options before their flight, including picking up last-minute pasalubong,” he enthused.

Located at the Meeting Place on the mall’s ground level, the facility offers comfortable seating for passengers waiting for the check-in process, along with a baggage repacking station and a weighing scale. It also has baggage storage, allowing travelers to securely store their luggage while they dine, shop, or relax before their flight.

From SM City Clark, travelers can easily reach CRK via the Clark Loop, a bus rapid transit system within Clark, as well as blue taxis and Grab. The mall is also highly accessible through point-to-point (P2P) bus services operated by Genesis Transport, with routes to and from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport and Trinoma in Quezon City.

“This partnership demonstrates SM Supermalls’ commitment to supporting local communities and the travel industry. By providing this valuable service, we’re not only improving the passenger experience but also contributing to the growth and development of Clark,” said SM Supermalls president Steven Tan.

The SM City Clark check-in facility is a result of a memorandum of understanding signed by key players in the aviation and tourism industries, including the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Department of Tourism-Region 3, Clark Development Corp., SM Supermalls, Plaza Premium Lounge CRK Inc., and LIPAD.
