CITY OF IRIGA, CAMARINES SUR — Clark Development Corporation (CDC) and the University of Northeastern Philippines (UNEP) have officially partnered to enhance both academic and regional tourism prospects. During the 75th Commencement Exercises, they formalized this collaboration by signing a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) on July 29.
The MOA aims to elevate tourism efforts and enhance the educational experience for UNEP students. Under this agreement, Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, CDC President and CEO, and Atty. Remelisa G. Alfelor – Moraleda, President of UNEP, are set to enable an immersive experience in Clark, a premier investment and tourism destination. This includes participation from colleges and universities in Metro Clark local government units (LGUs).
Atty. Agnes VST Devanadera, who served as the Commencement Speaker at the School of Law and College Department’s Exercises, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership’s potential to foster collaboration among students and boost regional tourism. She also lauded UNEP’s dedication to nurturing the next generation of skilled professionals and leaders.
This collaborative effort seeks to integrate theoretical learning with real-life applications, offering students valuable exposure and hands-on training, ultimately better preparing them for a competitive job market.
