CLARK FREEPORT – The Clark Development Corporation (CDC) will continue to spruce up the zone’s surroundings and preserve cleanliness around Clark by installing more trash bins in different areas of the Freeport.

This was gleaned during a simple turnover ceremony of the 60 additional sets of trash bins with 20 sets of metal frames donated by Soliman E.C. to the state-owned firm.

According to CDC President and CEO Manuel R. Gaerlan, these additional waste bins will help to minimize litter in the Freeport and encourage the public, especially park visitors, to place their trash in designated bins.

“With these additional trash cans, people would have no excuse not to practice responsible waste disposal in Clark,” Gaerlan said.

The donated materials were personally handed over by Soliman E.C. President and CEO Epitacio Soliman, Jr. to Gaerlan.

Also present during the activity are CDC Vice President for Admin and Finance Engr. Mariza Mandocdoc, VP for Security Services Group PBGen. Sheldon Jacaban (Ret.), CDC VP for Legal Affairs Group Atty. Josep Jepri Miranda, CDC Assistant Vice President for Business Development I Thelma Ocampo, AVP for Administration Ma. Zoraida Camello, and CDC Chief-of-Staff Dennis Legaspi.

Soliman E.C. Senior Operations Manager Gilben Roxas, Romuald Dean Soliman, and Epi-Jay Soliman also extended their support on CDC’s advocacy.

Recently, Midori Hotel and Casino also donated 96 sets of color-coded trash bins, installed in various locations inside the Freeport.

CDC is dedicated to raising environmental consciousness not only in the Freeport but also in its surrounding communities. Aside from this, the CDC- Environmental Permits Division (EPD), led by Engr. Rogelio Magat, has carried out various activities to maintain a sustainable, clean, and green environment here.
