CLARK FREEPORT – An annual highlight for investors and locators here got the proverbial cold shoulder from the Clark Development Corp., the freeport’s very overseer no less.

At Friday’s (Oct. 13) 26th anniversary celebrations and general membership meeting of the Clark Investors and Locators Association at the Clark Marriott Hotel, not a single representative of the CDC was present.

The absence was made all too conspicuous to the CILA members where previous anniversaries were graced by the CDC president, the board chairman, directors, or vice presidents and assistant VPs, at the least.

It was learned that the CDC was holding a team-building event in nearby Porac town, thereby precluding its attendance to the event which had Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark district collector Atty. Erastus Sandino Austria as keynote speaker.

The CILA Board is composed of chairman Christopher Magdangal, president Frankie Villanueva, directors Lito Mercado, Lina Casasola, Evelyn Yumul, Froilanda Rodriguez, Radito Tuazon, Maximino Gulmayao, and Dr. Irineo Alvaro who is chair of the advocacy committee.
