CLARK FREEPORT — Initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and strengthen stakeholder engagement in this freeport were outlined at a business forum held at the Royce Hotel on June 19.
“Our newly established Business One Stop Shop (BOSS) at Building 2126 in Clark Freeport exemplifies our commitment to efficiency,” declared Clark Development Corp. president and CEO Atty. Devanadera before representatives of 80 locator companies at the “Usapang Exports” organized by the Export Marketing Bureau of the Department of Trade and Industry.
The BOSS facility centralizes permit and license acquisition, simplifying processes for businesses operating within Clark. This initiative aligns with the CDC’s goal to eliminate bureaucratic hurdles and enhance operational efficiency across all sectors.
The CDC continues to advocate for policy consistency, actively participating in legislative hearings, including discussions related to the Corporate Recovery and Tax Incentives for Enterprises (CREATE) Act.
“Protecting the privileges and incentives of our locators is paramount. We aim to uphold Clark’s standing as a premier investment destination in the Philippines,” Devanadera said.
In order to foster open communication with investors, the CDC strategically collaborates to address industry-specific challenges.
“Our partnership with the Technical Skills and Development Authority ensures that we meet the evolving needs of businesses. We should be able to provide access to your manpower requirements,” the CDC chief added. “By organizing stakeholders according to industries and products, we enhance business interdependence.”
She noted that CDC’s commitment extends beyond economic growth to community enrichment, including cultural events and housing projects in collaboration with the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development.
“We envision Clark as not only an economic hub but also a vibrant community where people can live, work, and enjoy recreational activities,” concluded Devanadera.
