ANGELES CITY – New global opportunities for students and faculty of the City College of Angeles opened with an international collaboration between CCA led by its board of trustees’ chair Mayor Carmelo “Jon” B. Lazatin II and Education Malaysia Global Services, represented by chairman Datuk Ahmad Shalimin Ahmad Shaffie and CEO Novie Tajuddin, along with senior manager for Southeast Asia Megat Mohd Samsul.

Facilitated through the Commission on Higher Education International Affairs Service, the initiative aims to establish academic linkages between CCA and Malaysian higher education institutions to pave the way for student mobility programs, faculty exchange opportunities, scholarship access, and other international academic partnerships.

In addition to academic exchanges, discussions held between the parties also included possible professional training and leadership development opportunities in Malaysia that may support capability-building initiatives connected with the college and its programs.

The move reflects continuing efforts to elevate the global engagement of CCA by connecting its academic community with international education networks and opportunities. Angeles CIO
