AY MGA luha sa mga mata si Carla Abellana habang ikinukuwento yung breakup nila ni Geoff Eigenmann.
She made it clear that there was no third party involved in their decision to separate. She said she owes it to the fans to tell the truth as they can’t forever hide it. She revealed that they decided to part ways because they have very different values in life and they can’t seem to have a common agreement about a lot of things.
“There’s no third party involved talaga at hindi lang iisa ang reason. It’s just that we have so many clashes,” sabi pa niya. “Mas marami pang clashes kaysa yung nagkakasundo kami. Hindi ko na idedetalye kung ano yung reasons, out of respect for Geoff.
We tried our best to save the relationship. I saw Geoff giving his best effort. I was the one who announced it then that we’re offi cially together so ngayon, heto, ako rin ang nagsasabi that we’re no longer together.”
She says she’ll miss Geoff’s family who have all been very nice and good to her when they were going steady, including his mom Gina Alajar who was the fi rst to give a hint that they’ve indeed broken up when a reporter asked her about this and she said: “Bakit, in-announce na ba nila?” Carla said the Eigenmanns treated her like a member of their family, especially his cousins like Gabby Eigenmann to whom she became quite close.
“I’m so grateful to them kasi naging mabait talaga silang lahat sa akin. As of now, I’m trying to move on with the help of my own family and friends,” she says. “And also my work. Buti marami kong trabaho ngayon.”
It’s good Carla is so busy doing one movie after another for Regal Films. After the horror flick “Third Eye,” she’ll next be seen in the romantic comedy, “So It’s You,” opposite Tom Rodriguez and JC de Vera, written and directed by Jun Lana.
Then she has also wrapped up work for another romantic movie written and directed by Jose Javier Reyes to be released in June, “Somebody to Love,” with Iza Calzado, Isabelle Daza, Jason Abalos and Matteo Guidicelli. Soon, she will also start taping a new soap for GMA7 since her last soap was still “My Husband’s Lover” that ended in October and for which she won the Golden Screen best drama actress award last March.
