Capitol Supports 82 Board Exam Graduates to Foster Local Talent

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga—In a concerted effort to bolster the ranks of skilled professionals within the province, the provincial government extended financial grants to 82 successful board exam candidates on Thursday, October 5.

Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda, PDRRM Chief Angelina Blanco, Provincial Library OIC Jasmine Cordero, and former Board Member Rosve Henson distributed the assistance during a ceremony held at the Bren Z Guiao Convention Center.

Each recipient received checks not exceeding P15,000 as reimbursement for their board exam and review fees.

Governor Pineda revealed that these beneficiaries are products of the Educational Financial Assistance Program (EFAP) for college students.

The beneficiaries comprise board passers across various fields, such as education, dentistry, medicine, and social service.

Loyola David, a mother of one of the beneficiaries, expressed her admiration for Governor Pineda’s education programs, which have greatly aided her children’s educational needs.

“Nagpapasalamat kami sa Panginoon kina Gov Delta dahil binigyan sila ng courage na makapag-aral kahit hindi naman kami mayaman,” she said.

To date, over 500 board passers have benefited from this program.
