CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The scholars of the provincial government thanked Governor Dennis “Delta” Pineda for his continuing and unprecedented support to their education amid the coronavirus disease pandemic.
As a show of gratitude, the grade 12 recipients of the Educational Cash Assistance (ECA) program at San Roque Dau High School in the municipality of Lubao gave a portrait sketch and letter cards to Governor Delta.
“Maraming salamat po sa inyong ibinigay na tulong-pinansyal. Malaking tulong po ito sa amin upang mapunan ang aming mga pangangailangan sa pag-aaral,” wrote John Vergara on his letter for Governor Delta.
Aside from letter cards, Governor Delta also received a portrait sketch from one of the scholars in Lubao.
“Although it is our responsibility to provide educational assistance to the youth, it warms my heart every time I hear people thanking me for even the simplest things that I do for the province. As the governor, it will always be an honor for me to serve you, my beloved Cabalen,” said Governor Delta.
It can be recalled that the provincial government, through the Provincial Library, distributed P39,270,000 cash assistance to 15,708 public school grade 12 completers across the province.
