CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Residents of Northville Resettlement in Barangay Calulut here now have access to free and clean water following the Pampanga provincial government’s installation of two water pumps over the weekend.

On behalf of Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda, Vice Gov. Lilia “Nanay” Pineda, board member Ananias Canlas Jr., and former board member Mylyn Pineda Cayabyab led the ceremonial inauguration of the newly installed water pumps.

Nanay Pineda personally showed how the water pumps work by helping children in the area use the water for bathing. Residents also received water containers.

She emphasized that the project was initiated to support residents who had their water supply cut off, ensuring that their basic water needs are met.

“The installation of these water pumps is a lifeline for families who have faced water shortages in the area. This is just the beginning, as the provincial government is committed to ensuring that no household is left without access to clean water,” said Nanay Pineda.

In addition to the two newly installed pumps, the provincial government plans to set up eight more water pumps to serve the entire Northville Resettlement community.

Joining the vice governor Nanay during the turnover of the pumps to the community were Pampang environment and natural resources office chief Arthur Punsalan, provincial engineer Noli Pangan, and provincial social welfare and development officer Fe Manarang.
