Capitol inaugurates renovated multi-purpose convention center

MINALIN, Pampanga – The newly renovated Minalin Multi-purpose Convention Center in Barangay Sta. Rita is now in service following a blessing and inauguration ceremony held on Jan. 29.
Now more modern, cooler, and more spacious, the upgraded facility fulfills a long-standing commitment made by Vice Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda to the people of Minalin.

The Pampanga Provincial Government allocated P10-million for the renovation of the MMCC.
Minalin Mayor Philip Naguit expressed his gratitude to the Capitol seeing though the completion of the renovation of the MMCC, now equipped with a centralized air-conditioning system and features two private rooms, two office rooms, and two comfort rooms, providing improved comfort and functionality for various events and activities.

In recognition of the Provincial Government’s support, the Municipality of Minalin unveiled a marker acknowledging the funding assistance provided by the Capitol.

“Mabilis pu ing progresu king miyayabe tamu ngan pu. Ikami pung leaders yu misasaup kami pu. Itang linub ku pu me-amaze ku eke pu akilala ining multipurpose convention center tamu pu. Ngeni pu apagmaragul tane pu,” enthused the vice governor during the inauguration.

The event coincided with the turnover of e-bikes to barangay health workers and the distribution of free maintenance medicines to senior citizens.

Also in attendance at the inauguration were Senator Lito Lapid, Pampanga 4th District Rep. Anna York Bondoc, 4th District board member Kaye Naguit, members of the Sangguniang Bayan of Minalin, and the town’s barangay chairpersons.

The newly renovated MMCC is expected to serve as a central venue for community events, government programs, and public services, reinforcing its role as a hub for civic engagement and development for the people of Minalin. Pampanga PIO
