CITY OF SAN FERNANDO
 — The Pampanga provincial government is distributing fortified powdered milk to various municipalities in a bid to alleviate the struggle faced by the Kapampangans, especially the children, amid the now-extended enhanced community quarantine.

Facilitated by the Provincial Nutrition Council, the distribution aims to provided 1.2 kilograms of fortified powdered milk to underweight children aged 2 to pre-school.

Dennis ‘Delta’ Pineda said.

The milk distribution is under the Community-Based Milk Supplementation Program which was initiated by the governor last year.

To date, there are already 534 pouches of 1.2 kilograms of fortified powdered milk distributed in the municipality of Mexico. Distribution in the other municipalities has already been scheduled.

Meanwhile, Pineda renewed his appeal to his constituents to cooperate with the measures being implemented to prevent the spread of Covid-19.
