Capitol funds P4.1-M CSF road rehab, upgrade

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – The long-awaited rehabilitation and upgrading of the main road in Barangay San Jose here has officially started to provide relief for motorists and residents.

The project was initiated following an appeal from the barangay folk led by chairman Loreto Tumang captain to the provincial government lamenting the inconvenience and safety hazards caused by the damaged and uneven road, particularly during the rainy season.

Gov. Pineda allocated a total budget of P4.1 million to raise the roadbed by 50 cm concrete the 182-meter stretch to ensure resilience against heavy rains and wear from heavy vehicles.

The road rehabilitation has already started and is expected to be completed within 45 calendar days.

The governor emphasized that infrastructure projects like this play a vital role in fostering progress in the barangay, the city, and the entire province of Pampanga.

“This is not just about improving roads; it’s about paving the way for development and enhancing the lives of our people,” he noted.
