CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Gov. Dennis “Delta” Pineda has ordered the mass distribution of homecare medicine kits to help in the recovery of cabalens with coronavirus disease symptoms.

Initially, the home care kits distributed to all district hospitals, rural health units, and barangay health centers comprised 15,000 kits for children and 15,000 for the elderly.

This latest initiative of the provincial government is actually a reboot of its program of providing its constituents the appropriate medicine with a detailed prescription. Helping the Capitol in implementing this program are Dr. Paul Baltazar, pediatrician at Jose B. Lingad Memorial General Hospital, and Dr. Isser Sugay, pulmonologist of the Pampanga provincial government.

Last year, Pineda launched the “Gamot para sa Barangay” program to provide first aid to individuals with Covid-19 symptoms while awaiting evaluation by health professionals or hospital admission.
