CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Pampanga’s yuletide celebrations just got grander as Capital Town officially unveiled its much-awaited “Winter Wondertown”, a dazzling holiday spectacle that fuses the dream of a white Christmas with the warmth of Kapampangan traditions.

Dubbed the newest holiday hotspot in the country’s Christmas Capital, Capital Town transforms into a magical village filled with lights, sounds, and enchanting attractions designed to delight families, friends, and visitors from all over the Philippines.

At the heart of the festivities is the Capital Town Christmas Market, a European-inspired holiday bazaar with a distinct local twist. Guests can stroll through stalls offering artisanal crafts, handmade ornaments, specialty food, and Pampanga’s signature delicacies, bringing together global flair and Kapampangan artistry.

Adding to the wonder are larger-than-life installations perfect for photos and family bonding: a towering 20-foot snowman, a mini holiday village, carousel rides, and even snow-blasting experiences that bring frosty magic to the tropics.

The celebrations were launched with a spectacular Lighting Ceremony, setting the stage for weeks of non-stop holiday cheer. l

“Capital Town is more than just a township, it is a destination that celebrates heritage, community, and joy. By blending Pampanga’s rich Christmas legacy with modern immersive experiences, we want to make Capital Town the ultimate holiday destination for families and travelers nationwide,” shared Eugene Em Lozano, Head of Sales and Marketing, Megaworld Pampanga.

Local leaders and tourism champions also expressed their support for the initiative, including City Mayor Vilma Caluag, DOT Central Luzon Regional Director Richard Daenos, Provincial Tourism Officer Michael Castañeda, City Tourism Officer Ching Pangilinan, and Megaworld Pampanga Corporate Affairs AVP Dane Sayson.

With its mix of snow-dusted fun, lantern traditions, and world-class attractions, Capital Town’s Winter Wondertown is set to shine as a must-visit destination this holiday season, proving once again why Pampanga holds the crown as the Philippines’ true Christmas Capital.
