CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – At P1.021 billion, the approved annual budget of Capas town is the only one among municipalities of Tarlac that breached the billion- peso mark.
“Ito ay sukatan ng kakayahan ng munisipyo na magplano, magpatupad, at magpanatili ng mga serbisyong para sa mamamayan,” noted Mayor Roseller “Boots” Rodriguez of the budget, giving credit to collaborative efforts with Vice Mayor Alex Espinoza and strong support from the sangguniang bayan.
“Ang pagtaas ng ating budget ay resulta ng maayos na pamamahala at maingat na paggamit ng pondo noong mga nakaraang taon. Ibig sabihin, napatunayan ng munisipyo na kaya nitong magpatupad ng mga programa, tapusin ang mga proyekto, at panatilihin ang mga serbisyong tumatakbo—hindi lang sinisimulan, kundi tinatapos at pinapakinabangan,” enthused Rodriguez in a social media post.
To his constituents, the mayor said, this will redound to continuous service delivery, enhanced system efficiency, and prompt and proper response to the needs of the community.
“Kapag maayos ang pamamahala ng pondo, mas kaunting nasasayang, mas maraming napupunta kung saan talaga kailangan,” averred Rodriguez.
While conceding that with higher budget comes greater responsibility, the mayor assured the Capas townsfolk of full transparency, accountability and fiscal prudence in budget spending: “At sa taong ito, gagamitin natin ito para tiyaking bawat pisong inilaan ay nagiging konkretong serbisyo para sa inyo.
