Camayan hosts 1st underwater egg hunt

    SUBIC BAY FREEPORT ZONE– Children and guests at Camayan Beach Resort and Hotel and the water theme park Ocean Adventure, joined the first underwater egg hunting, dubbed the “Sea Grass Egg-Hunting” in celebration of the Easter Sunday.

    This is a different way of doing the conventional Easter egg hunt because in this game, players need to use a snorkel gear to search for the golden egg in the Sea Grass area of Camayan Beach Resort, said Arthur D. Thai, Camayan’s CEO.

    Since it is a holiday for mom anddad and it falls under the summer season, people tend to get involve in various activities to commemorate the essence of holy week in a fun, exciting, memorable and meaningful ways, Thai added.

    This one of a kind treat for both children and adult was the highlight of the “Egg-citing Easter.”

    But not only that, there are other activities lined-up specially for the kids which included giant egg mural painting wherein kids assisted by their parents were to draw their concept of environmental conservation on a giant Easter Egg; the Easter Egg Hunt wherein 300 pieces of eggs with prizes inside were scattered around the resort and the Best Bunny costume for adult and kids.

    Special presentation was the appearance of the different exotic animals rescued by the WildLife-in-Need (WIN) Foundation to the delight of the children.

    This activity did not only entertain but educated and empowered the youngsters on the importance of environmental conservation.

    Dr. Mark Luzon of WIN said taking good care of our rescued animals is part of their obligation and commitments.
