BALANGA City: The Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) conducted Tuesday at its office here a gun safety seminar to strengthen safety protocols for its 19 newly assigned patrolmen.
The training held at the covered court of Camp Tolentino was under the leadership of Bataan OIC police director Col. Marites Salvadora.
It was facilitated by the Provincial Learning and Doctrine Development Branch led by its chief, Major Randy Apolonio.
“This initiative aims to ensure the safe use of their newly issued firearms, enhancing their proficiency and promoting overall safety in their duties, as they will be deployed to different City and Municipal Police Stations across Bataan,” Salvadora said.
“The seminar included demonstrations on the proper assembly and disassembly of firearms, emphasizing the importance of regular maintenance to ensure the reliability and longevity of their issued firearms,” Salvadora added. (30
