MABALACAT CITY – The accusations of the mother of a slain woman in Barangay Mabiga here on Sunday night that the mayor is responsible for her daughter’s killing because she was the real target did not pass without hitch.
Mayor Marino “Bok-ing” Morales said he is contemplating filing libel charges against Pyra Lucas, the mother of Marian Lucas Gantan, 29, who was attacked by still unidentified suspects while she was driving home onboard her mother’s SUV from he beauty parlor.
Lucas was seen in the crime scene moments later hysterical and shouting that Morales was to blame for what happened to her daughter. But Morales denied Lucas’ accusations. On Wednesday, Morales said he is considering filing libel charges against Lucas who was adamant with her allegations.
