SAN ANTONIO, Nueva Ecija –– A 40-year-old farmer was killed by a masked man in Barangay Luyos here at around 6:30 p.m. Sunday.
Police identified the victim as Richard Gregorio, single, resident of the said village.
Investigation disclosed the victim was walking along Maligaya St., Purok 6 of the said barangay on his way home when repeatedly shot by the lone gunman.
The “unidentified malefactor with facemask, wearing jacket and hood approached him and shot him successively,” police said.
At least seven gunshots were heard by villagers, investigation showed.
“After which a witness saw the victim lying on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds and full of blood on his body,” police reported.
Investigation is still ongoing to ascertain the motive behind the killing and the identity of the suspect.
