BALANGA CITY – The bishop of the Diocese of Balanga on Wednesday considered the election in Bataan as safe, peaceful and credible as the provincial board of canvassers concluded the proclamation of all winning candidates.
“Now we move as one and forward for the growth of Bataan, all for God’s glory and for the good of our souls.
Pinagpala ng Diyos ang lalawigan,” Bishop Rufino C. Santos said.
He said that we must remember and recognize the selfless services and caring sacrifices of the priests, teachers and volunteers of the Parish Pastoral Council for Responsible Voting on the May 13 elections.
The bishop likewise thanked the cooperation and valuable contribution of the police force, the provincial Commission on Elections, Department of Interior and Local Government, the Department of Education and the press people.
“With concerted and unified effort we made this election in Bataan safe, peaceful and credible,” Santos said.
