CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – Top taxpayers and accredited agent banks were given recognition by the Bureau of Internal Revenue-South Pampanga District during the 2025 tax campaign kick-off event held at the Kingsborough International Convention Center here on March 19.
Under the theme “Buwis na Tapat, Tagumpay Nating Lahat,” BIR regional director Emmanuel Ferrer, Jr. and revenue district officer Mariniela German led the presentation of awards to the district’s top corporate and individual taxpayers.
Among the top corporate taxpayers, Solana Land Development ranked first, followed by Silvermed Corp. in second, and Dahn Berger Phils. Construction Corp. in third. Global Aseana Development Corp. secured the fourth spot, while B-12 Construction & Trading Corp. and Patient Care Corp. shared fifth place.
In the individual category, Pampanga businessman-philanthropist Rodolfo Q. Pineda was recognized as the top taxpayer, with Dennis G. Pineda following in second place. Carter Leander T. Ocampo, Alfredo L. Patawaran, and Maria Criselda Margarita T. Beltran completed the top five.
Also acknowledged were the contributions of accredited agent banks that play a vital role in tax collection and processing, namely Security Bank-San Fernando branch, PNB-Consunji branch, and BPI-Sindalan branch.
During the event, a “Pledge of Cooperation” fully supporting and committing to RDO 21B-South Pampanga “in fulfilling tax obligations with integrity, honesty, and transparency” was signed by the BIR officials and personnel.
RDO 21B-South Pampanga oversees tax collection in the City of San Fernando and 16 municipalities, including Apalit, Bacolor, Candaba, Floridablanca, Guagua, Lubao, Macabebe, Masantol, Mexico, Minalin, San Luis, San Simon, Sasmuan, Santa Ana, Santa Rita, and Santo Tomas. Punto News Team/PR photos
