ORANI, Bataan: Twelve beautiful young ladies from 11 towns and a city in Bataan initially displayed their form and talent in the presentation and media launch of candidates for “Binibining Bataan” at the Plaza Antonino here.
It has for the them “Power of Purpose”.
The candidates came from Dinalupihan, Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Pilar, Orion, Limay, Bagac, Morong, Mariveles and Balanga City.
They displayed their winning form during their production number. They were officially sashed one by one by their municipal and tourism officials and answered questions from the local media.
The Binibining Bataan theme song was launched.
A project of the Bataan Tourism Council Foundation chaired by Isabel Garcia, wife of Gov. Jose Enrique Garcia 3rd, the presentation was hosted by Bataan Ist district Congresswoman Geraldine Roman with the assistance of her brother, provincial Board member Tony Roman, and other tourism and local government officials.
“We are beautiful people, beautiful on the outside but more beautiful in the inside. I am glad to meet all the 12 contestants. Kung sino man ang mananalo, I am sure she will do a great job representing our province,” Cong. Roman said.
Vice Gov. Cris Garcia, third district Rep. Maria Angela Garcia, tourism council honorary chair Vicky Garcia, mother of the governor, Bataan mayors led by Mayors’ League president Orion Mayor Antonio Raymundo, and other LGU officials, witnessed the affair.
Pre-pageant soon follows and then, on September 28, 2024, the coronation night.
