ORANI, Bataan: A big investor visited Saturday some major projects in Bataan upon invitation of second district Rep. Albert Garcia.
President and Chief Executive Officer Wilfredo Keng of Century Peak Holdings Corp. inspected two warehouses at the 1Bataan Command Center compound in Orani town and the Hermosa – Orani River Channel.
Garcia said they are studying the possibility of turning the warehouses into a rice trading facility.
Also visited was the Almacen – Orani River near the Orani Fish Landing and Trading Facility where Garcia said there will be dredging to speed up the flow of water to avoid flooding.
In the ocular inspections with Garcia and Keng were Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton, Orani Mayor Efren Pascual, Jr., Orani Mayor – elect Jon Arizapa, Orani Vice Mayor Em Roman, Mines and Geosciences Bureau Region 3 director Noel Lacadin.
Also joining the visit were Department of Agriculture ASec Atty. Joyce Panlilio and personnel from the Bataan Ist Engineering Office and the provincial government of Bataan. (30)
