    New Year stray bullets hit 6

    CITY OF SAN FERNANDO – An updated police report indicated yesterday that stray bullets fired during the last New Year’s eve revelry had victimized six persons in two Bulacan towns.

    A report received at Camp Olivas from the Bulacan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) said five of the victims were in San Jose del Monte and another one in Baliwag.

    None of the victims died but underwent treatment in hospitals. The report said the shots that would them were fired between 12 midnight and 1:20 a.m. on New Year’s day.

    Slugs were recovered from the sites by the Bulacan police’s Scene of the Crime Operatives or SOCO. Probers said that at least two of the slugs came from a caliber .45 gun.
